Our intelligent solution for effective heating is the “GC-slide”, a special heating element as a compact component for hot runner systems. Conventional clamping mechanisms to ensure the tightness of a coil heater on the hot runner nozzle, come very quickly reach their limits – not as the “GC-slide”.

The heating is integrated in the clamping element, by being inserted into a thin-walled jacket tube and held in place by slotted end rings. The end rings have an inner cone, so that the complete component, which has an undersize to the nozzle, is self-centering, and can be easily pushed onto the nozzle. The meander-shaped wound and pressed heating element ensures an optimum thermal contact with the nozzle safely even at low external radial pressure forces. The exact design of the applied winding scheme is adapted to the specific heat requirements of the hot runner nozzle.
